Information for Pet Owners

I have included some information on a few of the topics that some of our pet owners have asked about. Hopefully they will be helpful. If there is something that you think that others would be interested in please drop me a line and let me know.

7" TEFLON COATED MED/FINE STEEL COMB: We prefer these combs instead of brushes because they glide through the Birman coat right to the skin without snagging.

We only use open top litter boxes and our preference is the Litter Locker Tote style for ease of cleaning.

Most of our Birmans will use Wood Pellet Litter. This can be purchased in several forms: Wood Stove Pellets, Horse Bedding or Feline Pine Cat Litter. They are all equal, but the price will vary significantly.

All of our kittens will transition onto the finer, softer clumping litter if that is your preference. Occasionally we have a kitten or two who have a strong preference for the clumping litter and will advise you of this.
